Selective about surveys - Serious about safety

There have been a number of incidents, accidents and fatal crashes involving air ambulance helicopters and we would like to give helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS) staff on the flight line the opportunity to record what they think about the day-to-day risks of their occupation.

This survey is in no way designed to evaluate operating procedures of individual services, organizations or operators. There is no intention to identify causes of accidents, attribute blame or to comment on specific incidents or occurrences. The goal is to describe the personal attitudes and perceptions of people who currently serve in the air medical industry.

We would be extremely grateful for your participation in this research regarding helicopter emergency medical service operations. Please take time to share your experience and perceptions of issues related to the safety of air medical transport operations.

Follow this link to the survey.

EDP protocol is a great risk assessment/mitigation tool. We need to push this ASAP to all companies.
